Jakob Stepp captivates audiences with his refined phrasing and exceptional musical sensitivity, excelling equally as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. Numerous competition successes – including the German Music Competition – as well as scholarships from prestigious foundations highlight the artistic calibre of his work. He performs with renowned musicians and leading orchestras and is a regular guest at major international festivals. Alongside his active concert career, he serves as Artistic Director of the Musikfestspiele Schwaben and teaches Violoncello and Orchestral Studies at the University of Music, Drama and Media Hanover.
